Kamli, which could roughly translate as ‘crazed with passion’, is a Sufi number with a mod makeover. It is set against an industrial backdrop and we see Katrina doing the leaps, flips, and even some break-dance moves. Surely, one can’t rule out that some stunts were probably performed by a body double, but one can’t take away anything from Katrina Kaif either for doing those wonderful trapeze moves on the rope. The actress has admitted that she had to strain every sinew, every nerve in her body to get the moves right. “The rehearsals for the acrobatics use to take place at a height of about 10 ft but we shot the scenes at a height of 25 ft with a crash mat below. I've never considered myself an athletic person and there was a significant amount of fear but this was a once-in-a-life-time opportunity for me to work with famous circus acrobats,” the 30-year-old said earlier about her preparation for the role. In the movie, Katrina Kaif plays an acrobat named Aaliya. She’s the partner-in-crime of the slyest thief played by Aamir Khan. Dhoom 3 is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
